With their ability to run great distances and to run with a horse and carriage, the Dalmatian would carefully guide the firemen through streets of busy traffic.
In addition, Dalmatians formed an amazingly tight bond with horses.
Today, with motorized fire trucks replacing horse-drawn carriages, the Dalmatian has become the firehouse mascot. The mascot is used by the fire
departments to teach fire safety and prevention throughout the schools and community. The lovable Dalmatian is always a big hit with the children. What a great welcome he would be to your home.
I can provide the sign in English (Welcome), Italian (Benvenuto), Spanish (Bienvenido), French (Bienvenue) or German (Willkommen).
