The Bloodhound is a noble dog, with a long heritage. The first record of them being used to track poachers and theives is back in 1805. Today, they are used
by many Law Enforcement agencies to help in a variety of tasks - from tracking criminals to tracking people who are lost. They are affectionate, but shy, and their expression is “ noble and dignified, and characterized by solemnity, wisdom, and power.”
