The Broad-Banded subspecies (Agkistrodon contortrix laticinctus) is found in
western/central Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas living in both lowlands and hilly areas. Due to their usual small size, the copperhead's bite is rarely fatal. Most
adults of this type range in size from about 20 to 30 inches in length. Specimens in excess of 36 inches are rare.
Think about this beautiful snake each time you approach your home with a custom mailbox from BrandyDesigns.
The mailbox is hand painted on both sides. I use aluminum mailboxes, which meet USPS regulations. The boxes are T-1 size, which
measure 8-3/4” high, 6-3/4” wide, and 19” deep.
