The Basset Hound is a hunter, bred to be a scent hound and hunt small game. The
long ears stir up the scent, and the dewlap (skin folds) under the chin hold in the scent. The Basset Hound is a very sturdy dog, and has a great personality. Show
your love for this special breed with a custom mailbox from BrandyDesigns. Note that the model for this mailbox had no black markings. If you would like
different markings, or three colors, just let me know in the comments section of your order.

The figures and the mailbox are hand painted on both sides. The figures are both glued and screwed onto aluminum mailboxes, which meet
USPS regulations. We use T-1 size boxes, which measure 8-3/4” high, 6-3/4” wide, and 19” deep.
